To start... To those that read regularly, those that stumble here ocasionally, those that I think read this, those that have decided to abandon me, those that only talk to me to ask for favors, those that have decided not to talk to me unless I talk first, those that have been with me through good and bad times, those that I care about and those that I don't... in short, to just about anyone...

Now, back to our regular programming

This year's loot was a shirt and some money. As my family knows, I'm not keen on buying clothes and I tend to only buy when I really really, need to. That includes shoes, which I can perfectly live quite well with only two pairs for 3 years. If I do buy something (outside of really needing it), it's because I liked it at that precise moment. if for some reason or another (like money available at the time or it's not in my size) I can not buy it at that precise moment, then I loose interest in it and move on. So that's how the shirt came to be.

And the money ended up being used to pay for gasoline, toiletries, a nice book on the natural disasters that have befallen the country, published by the Museo de la Palabra e Imagen (those guys have been doing some really nice stuff! I should go to the museum one of these days), YuYu Hakusho vol 13, and materials to make an anime plushie.

My goal is to make a plushie of Gundam SEED Astray's Elijah. After a long struggle with a felt doll pattern I found on the net to use as a base, I managed to make the body and head with my limited stitching skills. That was the easy part. The hard part will be painting the face, attaching the hair and making his uniform. I bought half a yard of fabric of each green because I know I will not get it right on the first try. I'll leave the face and eyes for last. When that's done, I'll fill the head and attach it to the body.

I should make Fiori as well. It's a good way to keep me away from the computer. I've been spending to much time in front of it during the weekends.

I have to find a way to get the fourth Psyren volume. It will have Oboro on the cover! Yay!

Which messes up my cover pattern theory. Apparently it's future is looking a bit brighter and it's not in danger of cancellation. For now. Hopefully for a long while, making it last longer than Iwashiro´s previous manga Mieru Hito.

Dear Funimation: If you sent C&D letters for several series, including Katekyo Hitman Reborn, then announce the license of all those series, not just a couple of ones. I want Reborn, dammit! If I can't get my dose of animated crazy Mafia through semi-illegal ways, you better give it to me through the legal way.

This year is also Gundam's 30th Anniversary. Yay!

I wonder what Sunrise and Bandai have in store. There's been talk of a new series, with rumours pointing at the animation of a novel, Gundam Unicorn in particular. I guess I'll wait and see.
