About the elections
Presidential elections tomorrow. Wish I could dismiss them, but I can't. Not
with the importance they have on the grand scheme of things.
All things considered, I'll have to vote for the lesser of the two evils.
Carried out properly, socialism does work, as I experienced first-hand in a
small scale version in my stay in Israel, and as can be seen in Spain and and in
some way in Brazil. But that won't be the case here.
I was actually appalled at one of the two candidates. Back when I was working
as customer service at a national (now internationally owned) bank, I got a rare
opportunity to interact with both candidates on an employee/bank client level.
Let's just say I'm not going to vote for the one that viewed everyone with
contempt and unworthy to talk to him, rude to his then-girlfriend, then rude to
me just because I refused to ignore bank security procedures.
Guess I'll go with my white with purple stripes shirt. Completely neutral.
Because whoever wins yesterday, you can be sure that there's going to be
people attacking those from the other side.
Blegh... it's cloudy, atmosphere feels heavy, like it's going to rain. I
wanted to finish Link today, but the natural light in my room is terrible. Makes
my eyes hurt. And I don't want to carry everything to another room.
