Nice day
So apparently some people have already got their copy of the Gundam 00
part 1 set from DVD Pacific, even though the site shows a shipping date of july
21. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for my order status to change from "new
order"/"not shipped" into something else. I've had it on preorder since
february!
And part 2 will have a special edition that will only include 1 manga, and
it's not the second 00F volume. So I guess I'll go for the regular edition for
this one.
I will wait for the first part to get here before I order the next one,
though.
I bought my Yume ticket. Decided for the 2 days one, even if I only go for a
couple of hours on each day. Yay! Manga!

I had to go to a doctor for a standard check up on Saturday. Now, I
understand the need for a health insurance company to make sure the policy
holders are relatively healthy and are not trying to hide and life-threatening
conditions. But the kind of doctor they sent me to didn't seem like an
appropiate one.
For startes it was in the Asociacion Cultural Nueva Acropolis. Mind you, I
have nothing againts natural medicines, but an insurance check up by a doctor
that prescribes 5 teas and 1 pharmacy medicine? And it didn't seem he was asking
the right kind of questions. One would think the insurance and the doctor would
like to know hoy many times I had gone to a doctor on the past year, and for
what reasons.
Or know if I have children or had even been pregnant. Instead, he asked if I
was currently pregnant. Helloooo? I told you five minutes before that I hadn't
had sex since I broke up with Saito I don't know how many years ago, unless you
believe I was visited by Zeus or something.
And then he was poking so hard... when I complained he asked if I has
intestinal problems, which I don't have. "Then why does it hurt?" He even has
the gall to ask. The areas where he poked are now bruised.
I would have preferred the type of doctor that orders 10 blood tests.
And today I rediscovered the joy of just going out for a walk by myself and
finding a small, quiet and cozy place to have lunch with my book. I used to this
often in Afula, Haifa or Tel Aviv on my free weekends, back in 94-95.
I would have gone to the movies as well, but the cinema only had Ice Age
and Transformers. I have absolutely no interest in Ice Age (in
fact, I disliked the first Ice Age movie), and a lot of people have told
me to save my money and wait until Transformers is in rental. Are those
two movies the ONLY ones existing right now?
But enough complaining. They day's far to nice for that.
