Holiday? What holiday? At least we get paid double for the days that are national holidays. Workplace highlight of the week was fourth-floor view of a fire that destroyed a place that functions as a carwash during the day and a strip club during the night.

Postman came on Tuesday with mail from someplace in Europe for me, which I assume is the 8059 fanbook, unless the Vongola History Lesson book is also mailed from Europe. In any case, no one was home when postman came, so he left me a notice telling me to pick it up on Monday at Central Post Office. Doujin! Yay!

Yesterday I went to see G.I. Joe with my brother. And geeky me wore the Cobra Crimson Guard t-shirt that my brother's friend, Tim, gave me (on of those "what a cool t-shirt!" "You like it? Here! Keep it ^_^" cases).

I loved the movie for the most part. Liked it better than the first Transformers movie, in fact. I was drooling all over the Nightraven, and smiled whenever a phrase from the cartoon was said. Crazy Scientist a.k.a. Future Cobra Commander somehow reminded me of Bowser Koopa from that live-action Mario Bros. movie. Suited-Zartan was actually cool. The relationship between Ripcord and Scarlett was a big no-no. And the whole thing between Duke and the Baroness was even worse. And even though I hated both Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow in the cartoon, I actually liked Storm Shadow in the movie (though I still wonder why the head monk in a martial arts temple in the middle of Tokyo insisted that Storm Shadow should only speak english...).

So, yeah. The movie will go to my collection when it comes out on dvd.

My cellphone needs a new battery. Though I wonder whether buying a new phone would be cheaper. I want one with regular USB connection and a relatively decent camera. I know the camera part will be harder...

From Misskalloway her extra copies of the 1st Gundam Wing G-Unit manga and the Gundam Wing Ground Zero manga. I have Ground Zero in the comic book format Viz used to use, so getting the graphic novel format wasn't a priority. But since it was there with G-Unit...

I need to go to the US at least once before the expiration date of my tourist visa. Otherwise they might not renew it, and I certainly don't want to loose it even if I don't use it often. Hopefully all goes well and I can go to New York on November.

This week's Reborn: More on why this particular timeline is the only one were Byakuran can be stopped (he's the Friggin' King of All Cosmos, I tell you!), with Tsuna and co. finally understanding the importance of it. And Uni!! Finally Uni will make a move. Hopefully Gamma will also show up. It wouls be awesome if not just Squalo had sneaked in, but the whole Varia as well.

This week's Psyren: Q-chan's creator reveals her origins and that the whole object of her Psyren game is not to save the world, but rather to find her brother Miroku. She'll reveal Hiryuu's and Oboro's fate on the next chapter. I still think Oboro is now in Shiner's hands.

My titles are getting more and more unoriginal...
