I knew that several lawyers and representatives of both sides of the Record case were against the judge's decision to lock up my cousin and his co-workers, so they pushed for a hearing.

Brother called us last night with the news that the hearing had gone well and that the three engineers are released and can go back to their jobs and keep with the measures they had been keeping (not changing address, reporting every two weeks, reporting whenever they had to go out of the country and where, among other things).

It's a good thing and quite the relief.

And I just learned that the vibration from heavy machinery is not being caused by the construction of the building, but because a mall of sorts is being built in the hole between said building and our backyards. Not that there was anything there to begin with. It was just a hole were a construction company would keep it's machinery and trucks. When the real wuake comes, I'll probably end up dismissing it...

And I just hope I didn't mess up with Mother Nature when I attempted to rescue the two baby pigeons on my windowsill  nest that had been "abandoned" by their parents (parent pigeon returned 48 hours later to find an empty nest). We returned the babies to the nest and one sort of  flew away but is staying nearby. The other one is on the nest and after several minutes where I wondered whether the story of pigeons killing babies that smelled of humans was true or not, parent pigeon fed the one in the nest.

The Yume no Saiten 5 event was pretty interesting. Saturday I just bought some stuff and saw some cosplay.

The loot this time was D.Gray-man vols 2-3, a Sazabi, a Chrome keyring (with a 99% percent of actually being a bootleg... but it's Chome!) and a gashapon Dom. I also bought Angel Sanctuary 2 and 3, but the guy gave me 1 and 2 instead. I did get it switched the next day. The Dom and Sazabi I bought from the guy I always buy Gundam gashapon from, and he gave me a discount on the Sazabi because of that.

If she's a bootleg (and not an original figure that got a keychan extension screwed to the top of her head), she's a really well done bootleg. The skulls on her eyepatch and boots aren't smeared at all and are pretty detailed.

Sunday was when most of the good cosplay could be seen, including a cute kid dressed as child Gohan with his mom dressed as Milk.

But the cosplay highlight, for Reborn fangirl me at least was...

Chrooooome! Made up my mind about me wearing a Varia uniform for the christmas Yume (or the next year Yume). And she even posed with my Gokudera plushie!

So cute ^_^

I still think that taking photos of cosplays should be done in a separate area. They people cosplaying guys from Card Captor Sakura clogged the entrance for almost an hour, making it impossible to go from one side of the building to the other.

I got the manga switched and I algo caved in, bought a Saint Seiya gashapon from the gashapon guy, and got Scorpio Milo (doing his side of the Athena Exclamation attack):

And I got a new doujin today with lots of extras. I think I'll laminate the cute Hibari+Dino poster for my cubicle.

Now... I only buying the manga in spanish were as easy as buying all these doujins... but there are rumours that Mundo Vid went broke and that it's the reason they haven't published anything since february and instead are having a cleareance sale for the past few months. If those rumours are true, then the chances of the manga getting licensed in Mexico are gone.

It could get licensed for Argentina, but getting those would be harder than sending money all the way to Spain. There is a website that is going to sell Argentinian manga to the rest of Latinamerica, but they will request payment through Western Union, and I get the feeling that they have high fees... but I could be wrong.

But license firt, please.

And the only reason I'm not going out of my way to buy the Viz edition is because I absolutely hate the "deathperation" term.

Gundam Unicorn will not be a movie but an OVA with several episodes! Yay!. The producers say that no line from the novels have been omitted, which is a good thing. And because it's supposedly a multilingual release, an english site was opened along with the japanese one.

Maybe now I can forgive Sunrise for the lack of likable characters in the second Gundam 00 season (and killing what I liked about the characters in the first season).

And there's still no sign of my dvd. DVD Pacific still shows it In Order. Sure, I could cancel and order the normal edition. But I want the manga, dammit!

This week's Shonen Jump:

Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Still surprised that Gokudera has lasted this long without blaming himself. Uni is back to her normal self and ask for Tsuna's help. Gamma  really needs to show up and help his princess. Hibari and Squalo jumping in and hoping for a free-for-all battle was priceless. My head is imagining how Belphegor and Fran could show up as well. Seriously, when I'm not fangirling about Gokudera or Chrome, I'm fangirling about Fran... must be the frog hat and his attitude.

Psyren. Oboro survived on his own, but with arms full of mini cores (whether consciously placed there or not) things might take a turn for the worse. He also seems mentally broken. Considering his powers and the news oned he exhibited, it does not make for a good combination. Ageha might be the only one that can reach him.

D.Gray-man will be moving to the monthly Jump Square magazine, and the most recent chapter was published in Akamaru Jump. I'm liking Wisely and I'm starting to believe that the Heart isn't with Lenalee but with Kanda.

What's cheaper? Replacing my cellphone's battery or buying a new cellphone altogether?.
