VuiVui-chan is back home. Radiator problems were electrical in nature. A
front crash years ago, probably the one my ex never took responsibility of,
damaged some cables. At the time, the damage wasn't noticable, but over the
years, the cables eventually snapped causing a small short-circuit that melted a
fuse. Of sourse, power wasn't flowing to the radiator fans and so the coolant
would steam away. It's a miracle the radiator wasn't busted.
As the punchline says "Tightening the screw: $1.00. Knowing which screw to
tighten: $9,999.00".
I miscalculated the launch time and missed it by an hour. When I had
calculated it was time to tune in to the launch broadcast, the shuttle was well
on it's merry way. Oh, well.
Saw in Samborn's a historical novel about Goth princes (the historical Goths,
not the architecture or the subculture). Unfortunately the price tag was higher
than my available cash. But it's now on my Must Buy list.
On my obligatory stop by La Casita, I was compelled to the english books
section and found Dale Brown's Strike Force. Being the only copy in the
whole bookstore and the pricetag being $0.01 above the recommended US price (and
well below what was available in my wallet), I wasn't going to let this one get
away. Now I'm only missing 5 books before it and 1 after (though something tells
me that the moment I buy a new copy of Wings of Fire, my lost copy will
resurface).

So it might take a
while before I can read this one. But at least I have it now.
Speaking of books, Free Fall, the third book in the Tunnels
series will be released in Argentina on November, meaning that it will come to
this neighborhood around January-February. If I find out that it's in Guatemala
before it gets here (which is what happened with Deeper), this time I
will go on a little road trip (though it's basically just an excuse to go to
Guatemala, not that I really need one).
This week's Psyren: So last week we learned Oboro's fate. But neither
Ageha and Q-chan's creator know what happened to him because of a barrier
surrounding him. So Q-mom moved on to Asaga, who has joined Tatsuo and
former-human-now-tavoo Kusakabe on their quest to attack a W.I.S.E. neural tower
in order to remove their cores. Of course, Asaga doesn't want Ageha to get
involved and bids him farewell, at least until his beloved Tatsuo is free from
the core and they can return together to their time, because it so happens that
sunlight hurts those that have undergone Illumina's Forge (Shiner torture time!
yay!).
Now that I remember, on the previous chapter Grana told Miroku that Dholaki
had kicked the bucket and that Junas was after the humans. He didn't mention
Shiner's defeat at all. Perhaps afraid that Miroku would have punished Shiner? I
find that rather interesting.
This week's Katekyo Hitman Reborn: Mukuro returns. As a separate
entity from Chrome. But that's at the end of the chapter. And Dino seemed to
know something about it. In any case, Tsuna sees Uni's resolution decides to
protect her. Hibari's face when Squalo and Gokudera show off before him is
priceless, but he eventually joins and uses his hedgehog to create a barrier to
allow the three of them to join the others at the mobile base.
So Uni, as bearer of the Sky pacifier and leader of the Arcobaleno, has
officially invalidated the Choice game. I wonder what the Cervello will have to
say about it.
I should go watch the anime right now.
And I finally got a decent motmot photo!

Oh yeah. Towers Entertainment has announced work in the third part of
Saint Seiya Hades. Meanwhile I'm still waiting for my dvds.
Feeling: happy
Now playing:
