So today is 09/09/09. Nothing special on the day, other than the digits, and my unbirthday. Besides the excuse to actually post something on this date.

It's also the fictional birthday of a fictional character.

So yeah. September 9 is Gokudera Hayato's birthday.

And since it was an entry in my list of "things to do at least once", I celebrated in the purest otaku fashion (or should it be in the purest fujoshi sense?):

Due to the lack of ownership of actual Gokudera figures or posters, I celebrated with Plushie!Goku.

It's algo a good excuse to eat cake in the middle of the week.

Besides, with the way things were at work today, if I had attempted to draw fanart, it would have ended up being Storm Guardian Torture.

Now that I think of it, no mater how much we've talked (because you can actually converse with a denizen of one's Mind World), Fiori has never once mentioned his birthday, nor have I asked. I'll have to remember to ask him next time we meet, and jot down the date.

I need to sit Hien down... it's been a while since we've had a long nice chat. Steve is someone I also have to catch up with, since he's only showing up to ask how his plushie incarnation is going. And Akiva... I like her a lot, but I've never actually sat down with her, not with Fiori hogging my time (and she's supposed to be Fiori's best friend for Frith's sake). Aahhh, the wonder of Mind World denizens.
