Happy Anniversary, journal! It's been 7 years since I started. Some years I've written more than others, but the fact remains that this is the longest I have kept a journal.

I've been reading entries from the first two years. The fangirling hasn't changed, just some of the targets. And boy was I bitter back then regarding some RL stuff... I read and now I can only remember bits of what might have prompted me to write what I did.

This time I didn't celebrate with cake. My stomach is a little iffy today. But I do have strawberry Pocky!

Reborn will get four chapters with color pages... in a row. From what I've read, Shonen Jump has only done this with two other series: Kochikame, which has been in the magazine since it first started publication, and Death Note, which weren't really color manga pages, they were more like illustration during it's four week break between part one and two. None of the current three powerhouses, One Piece, Naruto and Bleach, have received this treatment. It makes it seem that there's some big announcement regarding Reborn, there's even talk of a movie, which is long due.

There will be an animated special in this year's Jump Festa.

Regarding the 6 Hell Rings, Mukuro has two, Genkishi has (had?) one, one is with Fran, and this week's chapter revealed that Kawahiro had the fifth. That means one is unaccounted for, and probably in Torikabuto's possesion.

So this chapter Kawahira hids the Vongola and throws off Zakuro (by tricking him into believing that the Vongola had gone to Mt. Fuji), while Dino and Hibari in Namimori's school grounds, facing off Daisy, who turns out to be a guy with a Box embedded into his chest.

I finished my Hibari plushie. No, not Reborn's Hibari Kyoya, but Oozora Hibari from a late 70's manga (and anime) titled Stop, Hibari-kun!, that was also published in Shonen Jump
