Carlos was born as a plushie. A coworker saw me working on Ed's hooded
trenchcoat and asked me for a plushie. A boy, whose design was left entirely to
me, as long as he had a red coat with a hood.
Chrome has been finished, but I hit a roadblock with Lambo: his afro and his
horns. While I was thinking how to make Lambo's hair, I suddenly remembered his
horns (which hadn't been in the equation this whole time). I didn't have the
right yellow for them, so I went on felt hunting and couldn't find the right
color. I only found bright yellows, and the horns are more of a light brownish
yellow. I did find red felt of good quality for Spidey and I stocked on skin
color felt.
But since the stores were I buy felt are closed when I get out from work and
I'm leaving on Saturday, looks like I will have to take Lambo with me and look
for the felt in NY.
Plushie!Fiori and Plushie!Goku want to go with me. I will only take one with
me, though I'm having problems deciding which one. Probably Fiori.
The third Reborn scoop wasn't a real scoop, per se. It was the
popularity poll results, with Tsuna taking the first place, Hibari on second,
Gokudera on third and Mukuro at fourth. The Vongola's 8th boss, Daniela was 6th
place (considering how the japanese will suddenly adopt a character that not
much is known about, it's not surprising) and Fran was at 11th (not bad for a
new character).
So only one scoop left. A movie is long due, now that the series has passed
the 150 episode mark.
Meh. Computer has a tendency to overheat once in a while, which happened a
while ago and ate part of the entry.
Just five more days and I'm off on vacation. Yay!.
