Vacations
Vacations finally, yay!
I could have asked for a week much earlier in the year, after 6 months, but I
wanted the two weeks. I couldn't actually get the two weeks unless I applied for
vacations in October, and that would have been too late for the trip.
But still... vacations!
I don't think that I will have much internet access in NY, but Blackie's
adventures in the Big Apple will be recorded one way or another (in other word,
the old fanished way, with a notebook and mechanical pencil).
And if I find the special edition of the first part of Gundam 00, I'll
change the DVDPacific one for the second part, regular edition. The special
edition doesn't come with 00F, so I don't care for that one.
Now, Gundam Unicorn. The worldwide release of the OVA will actually
include spanish subtitles, which does make it worldwide in my book, and so it's
a plus. Unfortunately it's not a dvd release. Dvd release will be limited to the
Land of the Rising Gundam. The wordwide is Blu-Ray. Heck... I'm, still waiting
for a Blu-Ray player that doesn't cost double my electricity bill (which is
rather high, no matter what we do).
But then again, with the dvds, I first bought a PS2 and finally got a
standalone player until recently. So maybe I'll get the PS3 first (plays games
and Blu-Ray), until the standalone players actually become affordable.
I mean, for $80.00 I got a dvd player that not only plays R1, R4, and R2 (and
possibly all regions), but also converts PAL to NTSC (and the guys at Onmisport
didn't even know that!).
But enough ranting. It's still worldwide. Which is good.
And I'll be back on November 1st. See you later!.
Feeling: excited
